About

Resilience means the ability to withstand shock, upset and change.

FrontenacResilience is about sustainability, building community, the possible, handling challenging times with collective intelligence and strength, working together, being responsible for our future, great parties, having young people “immigrate” to Frontenac (or just want to stay because it gives them the life they want), pulling together, working for a renewed vision of what’s possible here . . . stuff like that and more.

Written mostly by Andrew MacDonald. This blog will be switching from blog to website format soon. (If you’d like to help with this you’re welcome. No experience necessary; web training given for free.)

Frontenac’s strength doesn’t depend on its economic base, geography, financial resources or history, though these have their place. It comes down more to “community glue,” the stories we’re living together and the connections between us.

We’re building in more of that.
